Mollie Rush

Approachable, down-to-earth, friendly, and caring, family lawyer Mollie Rush derives her greatest professional fulfillment from meeting her clients’ needs with compassion while helping them achieve the best outcome for their circumstances.

Born and raised in Bryan, Texas, where her grandfather was an attorney, Mollie aspired to a career in law from a young age. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts with a minor in English from Texas A&M University before obtaining her Associate of Applied Science, Legal Assistant (paralegal), Mediation Certification, Legal Office Specialist Certification from Blinn College to make sure law truly was the career she wanted, and she never looked back. She graduated with a Juris Doctor in May of 2021 from UNT Dallas College of Law, where she won the CALI Award for the highest overall grade for Advanced Legal Research. A wordsmith who excels in writing concise and winning motions that help her clients avoid hearings, Mollie honed her talent for legal writing as the staff editor of On the Cusp, the UNT Dallas Law Review and, as a theater major, fell in love with the storytelling aspect of law.

After passing the bar exam, Mollie worked for Godwin Bowman as an associate attorney in the firm’s Creditor’s Rights/Bankruptcy Division, representing creditors and secured lenders with a focus on collateral recovery via sequestration, and managing a docket of 150 to 200-plus cases. Prior to law school, Mollie worked in a variety of legal roles, including intern for the Law Office of Patrick Gendron and the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office; personal injury litigation paralegal for The Benton Law Firm; legal blog writer for LegalAdvice.com; and law clerk for Perry Law. She credits her experience in numerous areas of law and on both sides—as a paralegal and an attorney—for providing her with a firm foundation of procedural and substantive knowledge.

Mollie joined Guest and Gray in January of 2024, where she enjoys working with people to solve their everyday problems.

When she’s not working with clients or helping friends and family with their legal questions and problems, Mollie enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her husband and their numerous pets.
